Prepared by: Charity Helpers Foundation
Date: 2025-06-14
Version: 1.0

---

**CONCEPT SUMMARY**
Prop Dash is a hybrid relay where players must carry or pass unusual objects through an obstacle course. Coordination, agility, and strategic object handling are key to success.

---

**REQUIRED EQUIPMENT**

- Obstacle course items: cones, hurdles, crawl tunnels, hoops
- Props (unusual items like giant spoons, beach balls, oversized hats, cardboard tubes, etc.)
- Relay batons or baskets
- Score/time tracking clipboard
- Penalty markers (colored flags or wristbands)

---

**FIELD LAYOUT**

- A zig-zag course with 4–6 obstacle stations
- Relay exchange zones clearly marked
- Start and finish lines
- Storage bins for props at each stage

---

**PLAYER ROLES**

- Teams of 3–5 players
- 2 officials to time and enforce prop rules
- 1 judge per obstacle station for fairness and safety

---

**GAME OBJECTIVE**

Complete the obstacle course in relay format while transporting props without dropping or disqualifying them.

---

**BASIC RULES**

1. Each player must transport one assigned prop across their leg of the course.
2. Props must be held or worn according to the rules (e.g., hat must stay on head).
3. Props may not touch the ground unless specified.
4. A player dropping or mishandling the prop earns a penalty lap or time deduction.
5. All players must tag the next runner in the exchange zone.
6. Time stops when the final player crosses the finish line.

---

**VARIATIONS / SCALING IDEAS**

- **Prop Roulette**: Prop is drawn randomly just before each leg
- **Surprise Rule Change**: Mid-course rule twists (e.g., “must now walk backwards”)
- **Silent Dash**: Entire relay must be run without speaking
- **Double Dash**: Props get larger or harder with each round

---

**STAT TRACKING SUGGESTIONS**

- Total time to complete
- Penalty count (by reason)
- Fastest segment time
- Average prop handling score
- Team communication effectiveness

---

**NOTES**
Prop Dash is ideal for school field days, charity fairs, and fun-runs. Its whimsical nature ensures laughter and engagement while subtly building fitness and focus.
